About Me

I holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree (MSc) in Developmental Psychology from the University of Ibadan, where my training provided a strong foundation in human development, behavior, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and the psychological factors that shape individuals and families across the lifespan.

My professional journey in the addiction field has involved working extensively with individuals and families affected by substance use, behavioral addictions, recovery challenges, relapse, family disruption, and the psychological consequences of addiction. I have received specialized training and developed extensive practical experience in addiction assessment, case management, recovery planning, counseling, and family support.

My areas of clinical interest and specialization include trauma therapy, family therapy, grief and loss management, substance abuse and addiction recovery, emotional and behavioral challenges, self-esteem and identity concerns, relationship and family difficulties, and personal development.

As a therapist, I take a holistic and compassionate approach to psychological care. I recognizes that many presenting challenges are connected to deeper experiences, relational patterns, unresolved emotional wounds, family dynamics, and developmental experiences. My work therefore goes beyond managing symptoms to helping individuals understand their experiences, develop healthier patterns, rebuild their sense of self, and move toward meaningful recovery.

I have experience working with individuals, couples, parents, children, adolescents, and families, providing psychological support and therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs.

My therapeutic work draws from evidence-informed approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-focused interventions, mindfulness-based approaches, compassion-focused interventions, relaxation techniques, and family-oriented therapeutic approaches.

Beyond individual therapy, I am passionate about breaking dysfunctional generational patterns, strengthening families, supporting parents, and helping individuals develop healthier emotional and relational lives.
