You can begin by contacting us through our website, WhatsApp, email or phone. We will help you identify the appropriate service and available appointment options.
Your appointment is only considered confirmed once availability has been verified by the Clinic and payment has been received.
Once your appointment has been confirmed, you will receive the information you need to prepare for your session, including any forms or onboarding information required before your appointment.
We want your first experience with us to feel clear, supportive and as comfortable as possible.
You don't need to know how therapy works before you begin.
Your therapist will take time to understand what brought you to therapy, what you have been experiencing and what you hope to work on. Together, you will begin to identify the areas that need attention and determine an appropriate direction for your therapeutic work.
You do not have to arrive with all the answers.
You don't need to know how therapy works before you begin.
Not at all.
Sometimes you simply know that something isn't right. You may feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, stuck in recurring relationship patterns, anxious, exhausted or affected by experiences from your past.
You don't have to diagnose yourself before reaching out. Part of therapy is understanding what is happening and making sense of your experiences.

You don't have to diagnose yourself Your first session is an opportunity for your therapist to get to know you and understand what has brought you to therapy.
You may discuss your current concerns, relevant experiences and history, the patterns you have noticed, and what you would like to change or understand.
You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and begin establishing a therapeutic relationship with your therapist.
No.
You decide what you are ready to share. Particularly when working with trauma, we believe in creating a space where you can feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences without feeling pressured to disclose everything at once.
Therapy is a process. You and your therapist will work at a pace that is appropriate for you.
Our standard therapy sessions are approximately 50–55 minutes. Some specialized services may have a different duration, which will be communicated when you book.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer.
Therapy may be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly or at another mutually agreed frequency, depending on your needs, treatment goals and circumstances. Your therapist will work with you to determine what is clinically appropriate.
That depends on you and what you are working through.
Some concerns may be addressed within a shorter period, while trauma recovery, longstanding emotional patterns and more complex concerns may require more sustained therapeutic work.
We do not promise a particular number of sessions or a specific outcome. Therapy is a process, and progress varies from person to person.
At Abby Wellness Clinic, our work is trauma-focused and integrative. We draw from appropriate evidence-based therapeutic approaches depending on the needs of each client.

Yes.
Trauma recovery is central to our work. We support people who are dealing with the impact of unresolved childhood experiences, relational wounds, emotional patterns and other experiences that continue to affect how they feel, relate and function.
Our goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms. We help you understand your story, process unresolved emotional wounds, reconnect with yourself and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
Inner child healing involves exploring how earlier experiences may continue to influence the way you see yourself, relate to others, respond emotionally and navigate life as an adult.
At Abby Wellness Clinic, inner child work may form part of a broader therapeutic process where it is relevant to your needs and treatment goals.

We understand that things happen.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in the session fee being forfeited. Genuine emergencies may be reviewed individually.
An appointment missed without the required notice is considered a no-show, and the session fee will be forfeited. A new appointment will then need to be scheduled.
Please let us know as soon as possible.
You may still attend if you are late, but your session will generally end at its scheduled time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and may be treated as a late cancellation.
Therapy fees are generally non-refundable because your appointment involves reserved clinical time and preparation.
Limited exceptions may apply, including certain situations where the Clinic cancels a session and cannot reschedule it within 30 days, duplicate payments or approved exceptional circumstances.

We take your privacy seriously. Information shared during therapy is confidential and is not shared with third parties without your written consent, except where disclosure is required by law or professional ethical obligations.
Communication outside sessions should primarily be used for administrative matters such as scheduling and appointments.
Your therapist may not respond immediately to clinical concerns sent by message. Therapy-related concerns are best explored during your scheduled session, where they can receive the appropriate attention.
Therapy sessions may not be audio-recorded, video-recorded, screenshotted or otherwise recorded without prior written consent from both you and your therapist.
Yes. We understand that life circumstances can change.
If you plan to take a break of more than two weeks, we encourage you to discuss this with your therapist so that your continuity of care can be considered.
We can hold an appointment slot for up to one week after your last scheduled session. After that, the slot may be reassigned depending on demand and our waiting list.
When you return, we may therefore need to offer you the next available appointment.
We may recommend a brief reassessment or clinical review before restarting therapy. This allows us to understand what may have changed since your previous sessions and ensure that your care continues to meet your current needs.

Requests for reports, letters, assessments, court appearances or other documentation outside your standard therapy service can be considered where clinically appropriate.
Additional fees may apply, and requests are subject to the Clinic's professional discretion and capacity.
